about
Kaf, Fa and Ra are 3 Arabic consonents used to spell the word "kafir" which refers to someone who does not subscribe to religious beliefs. This song is similar in concept to NILE's "Kafir", but in ours the song begins and revolves around the mark of the Dajjal.
The Dajjal has some distinct marks which makes him identifiable. One of the most obvious and probably most ominous are the 3 consonents engraved into his forehead.
The Dajjal would be a very interesting celebrity or idol to appear and impact the lives of mankind. We have encountered many people claiming to be prophets and god, and trying their best to impress with what seem like miracles. The Dajjal will be the epitome of such people because he will be more impressive in his actions.
In an age where we quickly judge and condemn people with the terms "fake" and "poser", it will be interesting to see how the Dajjal reveals the tricks up his sleeves.
The original version of the song uses a different type of drum attack. We decided to change the drum style to a pounding style similar to MORBID ANGEL's "Unholy Blasphemies" and felt that this version is way better. The pounding drums correspond with the drastic effect and impact of the Dajjal's work when he appears. Also, that changed the way we play the riff and it sounded really dark this time round! The other reason we decided to follow MORBID ANGEL's "Unholy Blasphemies" style is because of the middle part of this song. We felt we HAD to do something similar to the middle part of MORBID ANGEL's "Immortal Rites". Therefore this song is a tribute to MORBID ANGEL's "Altar Of Madness".
lyrics
KAF-FA-RA
The Dajjal stands above the skies blasphemy in his veins
He is a virus, he is a plague, ridden with deceit
A virus which attacks upon religious beliefs
A plague which rage spreads upon spiritual decay
Decadence creeps up on mankind in dark shadows
Blasphemy now shall reign sending god to the gallows
Chorus
“I am God, bow to me, worship me!
Now I’ve come, the saviour, the messiah
Muhammad and Jesus are blasphemers
The unseen god still unseen it’s me you see
Kaf Fa Ra! Kaf Fa Ra!
The ignorant stoops below kneel in desperation
They are a virus they are a plague ridden with disease
A virus which attacks upon religious beliefs
A plague which rage spreads upon spiritual decay
The signs of falseness and sacrilege are clear
While bowing down they could not see the mark of the Dajjal
Chorus
“I am God, bow to me, worship me!
Now I’ve come, the saviour, the messiah
Muhammad and Jesus are blasphemers
The unseen god still unseen it’s me you see
Kaf Fa Ra! Kaf Fa Ra!
Victorious, the Dajjal control the masses
Atrocious, decadence penance disappears
Contagious, slanderous convert unbelievers
Disastrous, all religions buried in ashes
Kaf Fa Ra! Kaf Fa Ra!
Victorious, the Dajjal control the masses
Atrocious, decadence penance disappears
Contagious, slanderous convert unbelievers
Disastrous, all religions buried in ashes
The Dajjal stands above the skies blasphemy in his veins
He is a virus, he is a plague, ridden with deceit
A virus which attacks upon religious beliefs
A plague which rage spreads upon spiritual decay
Decadence creeps up on mankind in dark shadows
Blasphemy now shall reign sending god to the gallows
Chorus
“I am God, bow to me, worship me!
Now I’ve come, the saviour, the messiah
Muhammad and Jesus are blasphemers
The unseen god still unseen it’s me you see
Kaf Fa Ra! Kaf Fa Ra!
Formed in July 1991 as a 2-piece band, playing black death metal. Went through a period of hiatus. Reformed in 1999 with a complete line-up, playing brutal death metal. Now a studio band focusing on writing and producing death metal songs.
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
From the first chords of the lead in to the Terrorizer cover to close out the album this is a non-stop buzzsaw of OG style grind. Blasts, grooves, tempo changes, this release has it all. Infinitely listenable and ranks right up there with some of the best grind from any era while still sounding fresh and current in today’s world. Kill Division is killing the game. ufobigfoot
